Yard work with Grandpa and Grandma!

Aaron stayed very busy working in the yard with is grandpa and grandma, or as he likes to say - "Papa" & "Mama"...but in a very deep voice.

We haven't had many nice days like this, so we took advantage. We spent a lot of time outside Sunday. We got my parents' yard ready for spring, and I helped mom decorate her porches. And Aaron got some quality time with his Uncle "Dadam". Grandpa didn't approve of his Cardinals coat, so I foresee some new Cubs gear coming his way very soon.

Happy Spring!!

Bryan turned 32...and he still likes wrestling

Hi, my name is Lindsey, and my husband is still obsessed with the WWE. Yes, my husband is a child. Being the big sports fanatic that he is, I'm not surprised he still watches the soap opera of wrestling. When I asked him last week why he still watches it he simply responded, "it takes me back to my childhood." I guess I can't fault him for that.

So for his 32nd birthday I decided to make it fun. And with the help of creative Caitlin, I was able to come up with the perfect idea.

He woke up to a letter on the bathroom vanity advising him of how his day would play out. There were various trivia questions throughout the house. Questions pertaining to things he loves (wrestling, baseball, football, beer, smoked meats). There was no way he could miss these. I was even able to stump him on some of the questions. Success! And he loved it. Double success!!

For his gift he had 2 choices...either an order of smoked meat from a place in the state of Washington called Salumi (he's always wanted to go there), or WWE Paperview tickets. I think you all know what he chose ;-)

Happy Birthday, Bryan! I hope it was one of the best yet!
We love you very much.

Busy March

We had a busy March!

We got to babysit Charlie! Aaron loved giving him treats, holding his leash and taking him on a walk. Charlie was a very good boy. I think only a couple of toys were sacrificed, one being Charlie's banana.

We celebrated Grandpa Thomas' birthday. Aaron even wore his best bibs to match his great grandpa.

We tried out some new hairdos.

And we got to babysit Jackson. Or as Aaron likes to say, Jackie :-). Aaron was such a good help. And he was even nice to Jackson! They are on their way to being best buddies.

So you eat crackers, too? That's pretty cool.
